Louder Than The Music

Canadian worship leader Ben Cantelon releases his new studio album 'Everything In Colour' today, 7th May 2012 (tomorrow in the US). Produced by multiple Dove award winner Jason Ingram (Chris Tomlin, One Sonic Society), the eleven track album features songs written with Mia Fieldes (Hillsong), Tim Hughes, Matt Redman and Stu G (Delirious, One Sonic Society).

The album includes several of Ben's already widely known and loved worship anthems including 'Love Came Down' and 'Saviour Of The World'. "The epic track has connected with worshippers in churches of all sizes", explains Kingsway of the latter song. "As declarations go, Saviour Of The World is as strong as they come, reinforcing essential Christian truths, bringing us back to the redemption unlocked by Christ's death and resurrection."

Now based in the UK, Ben has become known as a talented multi-instrumentalist, songwriter and worship leader. Having started out as Worship Director at Soul Survivor Ben is now based at Holy Trinity Brompton in London, where he is a key worship leader for Worship Central.

Discussing the theme of the new album in an exclusive interview with Louder Than The Music, Ben said: "I remember in late September of last year when we had a couple days of really hot weather and I was up a bit early doing my devotions. The sun was rising and as I looked out into the garden I could see the light shining through and the colours of the trees, leaves, the sky and everything came to life. Later that day I got the idea for the song Everything In Colour.

I guess that sums up the album for me, these songs full of life and are a response to who God is and all that He has done for us. It's a simple reminder, but I think sometimes we can forget that promise within the business of life or hardships we might be going through. We need to remember that God is for us and with us and that we have a future that is alive in Him!"
