New Look For Audio Adrenaline As Kevin Max Becomes New Lead Singer
Speculation about the future of rock band Audio Adrenaline has increased with reports that former DC Talk singer Kevin Max has joined a new-look lineup with the band.
American Christian music website Jesus Freak Hideout reported this week that Audio Adrenaline, who disbanded in 2007, are to resurface as a new entity after enlisting Kevin Max to take the reins. Original Audio Adrenaline member Will McGinniss will continue as bass player, with Dave Ghazarian (formerly of Superchick) joining on guitars along with Bleach's Jared Byers on drums.
JFH also claims the new look band will hop on the festival circuit in the coming months and are planning a new studio album to be released in 2013. The respected CCMmagazine web site also says it has confirmation of Kevin Max joining on lead vocals.
Rumours about Kevin Max becoming the new new lead singer of Audio Adrenaline first emerged earlier this month when the C_MusicNews blog posted the story, claiming that unnamed sources close to Kevin Max had confirmed the news. The blog also stated that a new album is being recorded with Fairtrade Services as the group's new record label.
Audio Adrenaline released their last studio album 'Until My Heart Caves In' back in 2005 and won two Grammy awards and multiple Dove Awards during their time together, with Mark Stuart as the lead vocalist.
Update: LTTM understands that earlier rumours reported on JFH that former Delirious guitarist Stu G would also be joining Audio Adrenaline are not correct.
