The Neon Ambience Releases Instrumental Album 'A'

Jan 31 2013

New British collaboration The Neon Ambience has released its first album 'A' this week. The album is made up of contemporary atmospheric instrumental tracks and is the work of Producer, Engineer and 7Core Music director Trevor Michael plus Singer, Songwriter,
Worship Leader, Elim Sound member and solo artist Ian Yates.

The duo got together whilst working on Ian's 'Good News' album in early 2012, and came up with the idea for a different type of project. The Neon Ambience's ambient music is described as "Sonic landscapes, moods and atmospheres set to music."

'A' is the first of three albums to be released in 2013 from the duo. The 50-minute instrumental album is made up of electronic, acoustic and ambient sounds.

"It's the perfect music for reflection, soaking and devotion", says 7Core Music. "It can be used in times of prayer, meditation and relaxation. Musical influences include Sigur Ros, Jonsi and Alex, Radiohead (Kid A) and Brian Eno."

As well as releasing Ian Yates' latest album, 7Core Music have also released the debut album from Ireland's The Remission Flow, 'The Light That Floods', plus an EP from British band The Joy Brigade.
