Philippa Hanna Releases New Single 'Lighthouse' From Forthcoming Album
British singer/songwriter Philippa Hanna has released her new single 'Lighthouse'. Taken from her forthcoming new album 'Through The Woods', releasing on 1st July 2013, 'Lighthouse' paints a vivid picture of a lost soul searching for guidance and, finally, land.
The beautifully arranged and performed single has already seen exposure on BBC One and Radio 2, and is accompanied by a new video (see below). The single can be downloaded now from digital stores (see buy link, right).
Philippa's latest album, which was funded by a successful Kickstarter campaign, has seen its release put back to the summer. "Due to a number of exciting developments we've taken the decision to put back the release date of Through The Woods to July 1st 2013", she explains.
"We know that so many people have been eagerly waiting so we're sorry for any disappointment this may cause in the short term, but we appreciate your patience and promise it will be worth the wait! In the meantime we are planning a couple of single release starting with Lighthouse, which will be available for download on April 8th accompanied by a stunning music video."
