Superchick To Bow Out With 'Recollection' CD/DVD Featuring New Songs
Superchick will release their final album 'Recollection' on 29th October 2013. The CD/DVD features 5 new songs, 11 of their biggest hits from over a decade of ministry, and a DVD with 4 videos including one brand new video.
"Influencing a generation of young people to look to God to find their true identity and worth, Superchick became synonymous with positive image", says Inpop Records. "Superchick songs like 'One Girl Revolution', 'Stand In The Rain' and 'Cross The Line', found broad appeal not only in Christian music, but also with over 150 film, TV, and video game placements."
Picking up where their last album left off, these five never before heard Superchick songs explore areas of identity, worth, and the hope found in a relationship with Christ, while maintaining the high-energy dance pop fans have come to know and love.
The band have confirmed that the album features former drummer Chase Lovelace on some of the new songs, who sadly passed away earlier this year.
"When he first started chemo, our drummer Chase called me to say, 'Don't finish the record without me; I'm coming back in the fall.'", said band member Max Hsu.
Superchick are now going their separate ways, with Tricia having recently released a solo album, Dave touring with Audio Adrenaline, and other members exploring new projects.
