Nov 14 2013

Colorado's Desperation Band kick off their UK & Euro Tour this weekend, with support from popular Northern Ireland worship leader Nathan Jess.

After performing at Eastbourne's Mission Worship Conference on Saturday, 16th November, the band make a quick trip over to the Netherlands on 17th November, before the tour continues with four UK dates.

The Desperation Band and Nathan Jess will performing in Liverpool (20th), Cardiff (21st), Ballymena (22nd) and Belfast (23rd).

Led by Jon Egan, the Desperation Band was birthed out of the student ministries of New Life Church in Colorado Springs. The band has recorded multiple albums including the 2012 critically acclaimed release, 'Center Of It All', a studio worship album produced by Paul Mabury (Hillsong, All Sons and Daughters). The album features 12 brand new songs, most of which were collaborations with writers Jason Ingram, Paul Mabury, Mia Fieldes, Kari Jobe and others.

"As we've matured and simply gotten older, we've found that we come alive most while leading the church at large", says Jon Egan. "All ages. Multi-generational. Though we love to lead young people and always will, we have found that the songs that have most impacted our youth are the songs that have most impacted the church."
