Wumi Releases 'Conga (Dance For You)' Featuring UK's Victizzle

Jan 07 2014

Atlanta based Nigerian praise and worship artist Wumi has released her latest single 'Conga (Dance For You)'. The song, and its accompanying music video, features the UK's MOBO award winning rapper Victizzle.

'Conga (Dance For You)' speaks volumes as Wumi serenades and inspires the listeners to give God thanks for all He has done.

The song is diverse in its appeal; from Wumi's Nigerian flavor, Victizzle's UK addition, to the cross-cultural dynamic of the music production. As you listen to the song it is impossible not be drawn into the sounds, rhythms, and lyrics of the song.

Wumi's second album 'HIGHER' will be released later this year following her 2012 debut 'Praise Restored'. She was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, in the western part of Nigeria before moving to America to focus on her education in 1996.

Victizzle released his long awaited second album 'Time 2 Shine' last summer having won a MOBO award in 2007 and 2009. He has also produced albums for MOBO award winners Guvna B, G Force and MOBO nominees Faith Child and JayEss.
