Worship Collaboration Homelight Releases 'Melodies EP'

Nov 11 2014

Creative worship collaboration Homelight has released it's new digital EP 'Melodies' this week. Comprising worship songwriter Jamie Hill (Quench, Why?) and DJ worship producer Galactus Jack, the vision of Homelight is to craft journeys of worship using a variety of musical styles to enable people to experience more of the transforming presence of God.

Driven by a passion for the prophetic and the pursuit of real freedom, coupled with beautifully crafted soundscapes that enable peoples hearts and voices to soar.

"For me it is about getting to that place where we are being transformed into His likeness in ever increasing glory that comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit", comments Jamie Hill.

"I want to craft journeys that help people get to that point of freedom in Him; freedom to be transformed, freedom to sing out, freedom to dance, freedom to pray, freedom to prophecy, freedom to sit at the Fathers feet and simply drink in His goodness and His glory. Melodies is all about that journey. As I start to sing and hear His melodies of love over me - eternal love - then what else can I do but bring my melodies back to Him?

Then we have the space to sit in that place and give our response to this eternal song of love that is sung over us."

"When Jamie played me his original demo for Melodies, I was instantly excited about the possibilities for experimenting with the structure and introducing some dance production to this beautifully delicate and yet powerful song", explains Galactus Jack.

"Jamie and I share a passion to produce art that glorifies God, that inspires creativity out of his own image, that contributes something to the listener which may help them to worship in spirit and in truth."
