Worship leader Luke Resch Releases 'Coming Home' EP

Feb 04 2015

East London based Worship leader Luke Resch has released a new six track EP ‘Coming Home’, with the songs being birthed from a community that long to see God’s children return to Him.

Coming Home’ is inspired by Luke 15 and the passage of the prodigal son, with lyrics not only focussing on the return, but also the entire journey of the son.

Resch begins the EP with a vulnerable song lamenting the separation between him and the Father, before indeed ‘Coming Home’ to the Father, and the celebration and triumph that occurs through relationship with Him.

Coming Home’ aims to breakdown preconceptions that Christians always have to be joyful, accepting that God has never said being a Christian will make life easy, but He has said:

‘I will never leave you nor forsake you’ (Joshua 1:5)

This is what steadies our souls in times of trouble, knowing that the creator of the universe is on our side, looking out for us.

You can get ‘Coming Home’ for free now on Noisetrade (see right), or download it from iTunes or Amazon MP3.
