Louder Than The Music

British singer/songwriter Steve Parsons is preparing to head into the studio later this month to record a brand new album.

"I'm very excited and a little daunted", admits Steve. "I always feel that way just before making a new album. A lot of hard work lies ahead over the next few months... but I'm really keen for these new songs to be heard!

Songs, for me, are like seeds that get scattered and find their resting place in people's hearts. Something that God can use to encourage, heal, or inspire. I've heard some really encouraging stories lately of how my music has helped and encouraged people. It's humbling and inspiring for me, and it's one of the reasons that I feel compelled to keep writing.

I'm just like most other people in that I sometimes wonder if what I'm doing actually makes any difference. It's like air for the soul when I hear an encouraging story, and to know that in some small way, something good is happening."

As with many albums these days, Steve is turning to crowd funding for help with the recording process. "We are using the RocketFuel platform to help us raise the funds for this new album and your support would really help. Steve has toured extensively throughout the UK, as well as in the USA, Australia, Europe and Africa, sharing his songs in venues ranging from small coffee houses to the vast London Arena, and in churches across the denominational spectrum. Equipped with a soulfully expressive voice, a guitar, and a piano, he writes songs that encourage people to think about life and faith.

In his 22 years of music ministry, he has released 7 solo albums, as well as being featured on various compilation albums.
