Kari Jobe Releases 'The Cause Of Christ' Single From Forthcoming New Album

Nov 28 2016

Worship leader Kari Jobe has released her new single 'The Cause Of Christ', taken from the forthcoming new album she has spent the past year working on, which will be the follow up to her 2014 release 'Majestic'.

"As most of you know, I have been working on a new album for a while now, and it's finally time to start sharing about it with you", confirmed the singer. "It has taken me a year to write the songs you are going to hear. I wrote from some raw places and poured my heart into them. Everything is going to start unfolding quickly, and I can't wait for you to hear and see it all. Firstly, though, I want to explain the heart behind my first single, The Cause of Christ.

The Cause of Christ is a song about the calling and destiny on us as believers. I love Mark 16:15 where Jesus says, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel." In other words, we're called to preach of Christ and the cross. No matter what we experience in this life, whether in seasons of joy or pain, it's our God-given calling to bring Him glory.

Each time I lead this song, I can't wait to get to the last verse because it is such a sweet reminder that in all we face and in all we go through in this life, we are to be about building His name and making Him famous through it all. It helps bring peace knowing we're a part of a greater cause. The greatest cause there is!"
