Hillsong Worship Release 'What a Beautiful Name' EP

Apr 12 2017

Hillsong Worship have released 'What A Beautiful Name' as a special iTunes EP featuring six different versions of the popular worship anthem. The song is the current No.1 Christian Radio track in the USA and is taken from the group's recent album, 'Let There be Light'.

In addition to the album version, the EP also includes a live recording of the song, plus Alternate Acoustic, Orchestral Selah, Gospel Version and Y&F Remix versions. "We’re blown away at the response to ‘What A Beautiful Name’ so far", says Hillsong. "For the last two weeks our radio single been the #1 song on the Christian Airplay chart in the USA.

We hope this EP is a blessing to you and your church, and pray that you would find a renewed revelation of Christ’s redeeming work on the Cross and the resurrection life we have in Him."

Adds Ben Fielding, "When we wrote this song, we imagined the power of declaring it at Easter - especially singing the bridge on Resurrection Sunday. At Easter we remember and declare that there is one Name that is above all others. Anything that can be given a name bows under the Name of Jesus. In that one Name is immeasurable beauty, wonder and power. This song brings the message of Easter back to the very foundation of our faith, not just in WHAT has been accomplished through the resurrection, but IN WHOM."
