Memphis, Tennessee, born regional EMMY nominee actor and songwriter Beau Davidson has released a three song EP titled 'The Beauty of America'. The EP includes the song 'Blessed' which he performed as an actor in the 2016 Hallmark film The Ultimate Legacy, starring Raquel Welch.

"The Beauty of America is a trio of songs I felt compelled to present at a contentious time in our nation's history. Divisiveness, uncivil rhetoric, fear, and anger have swept the country like a plague", explains Beau.

"Two of the songs, "Somewhere" and "The House I Live In," are iconic, timeless songs that are as true today as when they were written, and remind us of the universal dreams and qualities we experience as Americans. "Blessed" is my own original composition and charge to younger generations to wake up, engage, and never forget those who created this nation.

"Blessed" is an original composition. I wrote the piece to honor American sacrifice and also address my generation's patriotic apathy and apparent loss of faith.

I performed "Blessed" as an actor in the 2016 Hallmark film The Ultimate Legacy, starring Raquel Welch, Brian Dennehy, and Doug Jones (The Shape of Water). This created another huge spike in popularity, with church groups all across the nation requesting lyrics and the song itself for their own local performances and services. In addition, due to the film's international distribution, more viewers began discovering the song through music apps like Shazam.

I originally premiered the song on the CBS hit show The Bold and the Beautiful, and due the show's large international syndication, the song became popular in many foreign countries. After that, I collaborated with the US Department of Defense and Air National Guard to create a documentary style music video, which earned regional Emmy nominations."
