Swoope Releases Fourth Album 'Sonshine'

Feb 14 2018

Ohio-born and Atlanta-based rapper, songwriter, and producer Swoope has just released his fourth album 'Sonshine'.

"I'm supposed to say that "its my best album & I'm the most proud of this one" for marketing purposes", joked Swoope on social media. "But I'm saying those things because I believe them, not to make you believe them. It's so much more than a collection of songs for monetary gain. It's a time capsule that expresses the goodness of God. It's an autobiography of sorts, that I thought would never be written.

Yet here I am, a couple days away from "Sonshine" & still in awe that God did this. The album is a testament of His faithfulness to "never leave". Every creative bone in my body wanted to quit at some point, but there God was like a good father telling me I could keep going.

I could give the sob story, and I think at times it can be necessary for context. But for now, I'm celebrating. Boasting in Jesus and what He's done and what that allows me to do. Create. Serve. Love. Live. Win. Shine."
