Tom Golly Releasing New Single 'His Name Is Jesus'
Christian singer/songwriter Tom Golly is releasing his new single 'His Name Is Jesus' on 22nd June, available on all digital and streaming platforms. "I was blessed to write this song along with Ben Calhoun (Citizen Way) & Daniel Read. I couldn't be more excited to share it with y'all", said Tom.
In 2010 while doing Christian comedy, God placed a strong message on Tom's heart and soul, "I WANT YOU TO SING!" Tom was finally aware of the something bigger he had been seeking his whole life, God.
Since that day, Tom has immersed himself in music and has never looked back. His 2016 EP reflects this. "Not Going Back" written with Jake Jones and Justin Forshaw and recorded at RMS Studios, reflects Tom’s life experiences: “I am not going back to being who I was, the more we let Jesus and the Holy Spirit mold us and shape our lives, the more we start to come together as He plans”. 'Not Going Back' debuted in August of 2016, since then his first radio single 'Let Your Heart Be Found' went on to be on the Billboard Most Added chart 2 weeks in a row. Tom was also added to the lineup along side For King & Country at the 2017 Rivers & Spires Festival in Clarksville TN. He has also shared the stage with JJ Weeks, Zealand, Chris August, Jordan Feliz & Carrolton.
In 2018 Tom is currently on tour playing weekend shows. He was most recently added to the ILLUMINATE Festival Lineup along side Matt Maher, Danny Gokey, Tauren Wells & Stars go Dim. He is also writing and recording new music expected to be released later in the year. He most recently released a single 'Fighting for Us' written by Dove & Grammy Award winning songwriter Michael Farren in February of 2018 which has over 60,000 streams in 2 months.
