Bosh Release 'The Gloaming Hour' EP

Sep 18 2009

Bosh have released their brand new 6-track studio EP, 'The Gloaming Hour'. Described as "a step on from 'Sound the Alarms', both artistically and in terms of sound quality" it is available digitally for just £4 from Risen Records.

Explaining the EP, Risen Records say: "With 'The Gloaming Hour'; BOSH seek to take the listener on a journey in sound and spirit. From the acoustic reflections of 'Moonday Rising' through the surging rock of 'The Proximity Plea' and 'Touch Somebody', the laid back groove of 'It's In You', featuring Marc James of Verra Cruz, to the ambient beauty of 'Grow Dark'. The EP ends with a haunting piano piece, 'Darker Still', setting the listener back down with a wonderful feeling of satisfaction. This is BOSH crafting an experience rather than just a collection of songs whilst taking their sound to surprising new places."

The new EP was recorded over the summer and produced by the band themselves, and mixed by the man behind 'Sound the Alarms', Steve Ennever.

01. Moonday Rising
02. The Proximity Plea
