Word and Life Worship, a Christian Contemporary Worship Band, from Word and Life Church in Johannesburg, South Africa, have released a Christmas album titled 'Christmas Won't Be Christmas'.

Their second worship album was launched in 2011, 'Sing of His Love' features 11 original songs and a bonus DVD with sermons, behind the scenes interviews and a music video of Let me hear you say.

In 2014 they released another live album with producer and recording engineer Danny Duncan and Mark Townsend from Nashville and Texas. The album 'Freedom' featured nine original songs, 2 songs written for the album and one of their favourite worship songs, Break every chain.

Since the release of their first album, they have appeared on Kyknet’s DKNT Gospel, Kyknet NOU and Faith TV. They were also featured in an article in Vrouekeur magazine. They had various radio interviews and airtime play on radio stations country wide. At the 2011 SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards they were nominated for Best worship song. In 2014 they won the award for best gospel DVD at the SABC Crown Gospel Music Awards. At SAMA 2015 they have been nominated for Best Contemporary Faith Music Album.

In 2017 they released their popular single I Love It, with a bonus acoustic track, acoustic video, lyric video and behind the scenes footage. Their single, Flood My Heart was released in January 2018 in original, radio and remixed versions. In April 2018, they released an Easter single, Risen in original and acoustic versions.

Word and Life are privilege and blessed with opportunities to spread the gospel through South Africa with passionate praise and worship and to allow God to do what only He can do. The promise is not that we will feel great or that our heavy load will be lifted, but that God will come. And when God comes in his own time as a response to our worship, Psalm 96:13 declares, "Let all creation rejoice before the LORD, for he comes, he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his faithfulness."
