Seabird To Release Second Album 'Rocks Into Rivers'

Oct 12 2009

Piano pop/rock band Seabird will release their highly anticipated second studio project, 'Rocks Into Rivers' on 15th December. The group is currently performing the record live during their support slow on David Crowder Band's Church Music Tour.

'Rocks Into Rivers' is the follow up to Seabird's 2008 critically acclaimed debut, 'Til We See The Shore' and features production by Paul Moak (Mat Kearney, Sixpence None The Richer) and Matt Hales from Aqualung.

"For this album I think we wanted to mature both musically and lyrically," says lead vocalist Aaron Morgan. "We have families now and are experiencing different aspects of life, and we think that our audience has matured with us as well. We want to continue making songs that inspire people to change and grow. There is a musical progression in these songs, they may be a little less poppy but at the same they definitely showcase our rock sensibility."

The first single, 'Don't You Know You're Beautiful' will be available at iTunes and other digital music outlets from 3rd November.
