Kevi Morse, a HipHop artist and DJ, originally from Indiana with ties from Jamaica, has released his new EP titled 'Reality'. Kevi, who is inspired by French and Jamaican culture, says his goal is to empower the culture through hip hop.
"Reality is a project that came together from life experiences", he explains of the new EP. "I'm learning that we all mask up things sometimes to stop us from being vulnerable. I'm fed up with that! If I can't show you the real me, then I'm not supposed to be doing this. I wanted this project to reflect what it's like to be broken, but, in the midst of my brokenness, show you what it's like to bounce back and seek healing, grow, seek knowledge and cling to prayer and God's promises through it all."
Kevi's unique sound has lead to hundred of thousands of streams and devoted fans. In addition to founding his own clothing brand Kevi regularly tours across the United States doing more than 50 events a year. In 2018 major media outlet Rapzilla.com nominated him to their official Rapzilla Freshmen list.
"My goal is to inspire others to pursue truth and recognize Christ," Kevi says. "I try communicate that through relatable music and my genuine experience."
