Worship Leader Angie T Releases Latest Single 'Hope'

Oct 10 2019

Angie T, a worship leader, singer/songwriter and indie artist from Michigan has released her new single 'Hope', featuring I Project. "I found myself focusing on everything that was happening in the world, and found myself getting depressed and feeling like where is God in all of this", explains Angie. "Then God spoke to me and let me know that He was my hope. Now I have learned to put my affection on Him, and trust him. That is how this song came about."

From a young age Angie was a gifted singer and sang in several groups and chiors. Angie has a passion for worship, and as a worship leader at Gen2Gen Ministries in Southfield, MI, she gives herself over to worshipping God and leading others into deep worship. Her Pastors, John and Gale Stewart, are very aware of the great anointing God has placed on Angie, and they allow her to freely exercise her gift at the ministry. Angie and her husband Brian Thomas, also serve as Elders at Gen2Gen. The couple has an amazing son named Isaac who, at eleven years of age has already distinguished himself as an accomplished musician/producer.

Angie is a former member of the Kenneth Wilson Concert Choral where her development into a sensitive anointed worship leader began. Although her journey has been a long one, Angie has never given up on her dream to write and record songs that will touch the hearts of many. One of her goals is to teach the younger generation how to lead others in worship that will touch the very heart of God. She is also deeply concerned about those that are in pain and suffering from the cares of life. This passion is closely connected to her desire to provide transitional housing for those in need.

God has abundantly graced Angie as a psalmist to the body of Christ. Some individuals that have inspired her most are C.C. Winans, Yolanda Adams, Vickie Yohe, and Casey J, to name a few. Angie released her first EP in 2015.
