Songs of Worship Releasing 'Oh What a Day / Follow the Star'
The Chesterfield, Derbyshire, UK, based collective Songs of Worship releases its double Christmas single 'Oh What a Day / Follow the Star' on November 29th, featuring Gareth Simmonds & Mark Depledge.
"Christmas is closing in, and it wouldn’t be Christmas without a little festive cheer, raucous singing, and of course, new songs to inspire us and remind us of the hope that we have in Jesus. Allow us to introduce this year's Christmas offering from Songs of Worship", says the group.
With not one Christmas Single, but two inspiring Christmas numbers, there's plenty of Christmas cheer to go around! Featuring vocals from Gareth Simmonds and Mark Depledge, who are also the writers of each track, you’ll be sure to find some joyous melodies and upbeat production to lift your Christmas spirit this year.
'Oh What a Day' is a remake of a single Gareth Simmonds released in 2013, which reached the top 10 in the Christian and Gospel iTunes Charts. With more of a more ‘pop' feel this time round, it’s sure to get your foot ‘a stomping!
Mark Depledge then brings his soothing vocal tone to brand new track ‘Follow the Star’, reminding us not just of those that followed the star 2,000 years ago, but invites the listener in with an offering of our own to follow the star of Jesus.
