Jaime Masetta Releasing 'Heal Me' Single

Feb 10 2020

Jaime Masetta is releasing her new single 'Heal Me'. "When I wrote 'Heal Me' my goal was to show people who don’t think they’re worthy of God that they are actually more worthy than they believe", Jaime explains. "I wrote the song in a place where I felt like I didn’t deserve to be loved by God and I want others who feel that way to see that’s not true."

"There are so many people out there who do not think God has any love for them and that they aren’t accepted by the Church. My newfound goal is to bring the love of God through music to those who are aware of it and those who are not. I've been writing new songs all year as I prepare to produce my 1st full-length solo project. Can't wait for you to hear it! The new year will be an exciting time as I release new music to radio and embark on an exciting 2020 Spring/Summer Tour featuring my new music!"

Jaime Masetta has been singing since she was 2. For the majority of her life she dreamt of being on Broadway and going to a college for musical theatre. She remained in that mindset until the end of her high school junior year when she had finally accepted God’s merciless call to some kind of music ministry. This was ironic at first because up until the end of her sophomore year, she barely had a relationship with God.

Jaime and a good friend released an EP titled “Aphelion.” They had written 5 songs and recorded them all and released the EP in November of 2018, Jaime’s senior year. This opened up yet another door for Jaime. She realized how much she loved writing and singing her own songs and decided that maybe working as a music director in a church wasn’t for her.

Jaime is incredibly invested in songwriting and creating music for the Lord. She has come to believe that there are so many people out there that do not think God has any love for them and that they aren’t accepted by the Church. Her newfound goal is to bring the love of God through music to those who are aware of it and those who are not.

Over the past few years Jaime has been very involved with the youth group at her church participating in putting on retreats and singing in the band and during all retreats and worship. Jaime has been asked to sing for numerous church activities, worship hours, Weddings and funerals at her parish and other parishes in the surrounding communities. Since graduating from high school in June 2019 Jaime is now attending college where she is studying music and theology to help further her passion of ministering to others through her music. She is involved in choir and chamber choir, and has participated in worship as well as singing for mass twice a week at school.
