Trace Pridgen, a worship leader and Christian artist in Atlanta, released his new single 'Victory' on May 8 and it has already received over 13,000 Spotify streams. It is the third single from Trace's worship project. "It offers hope that Christ is the ultimate victor and that he constantly fighting for us and on our behalf; a reminder that I believe we all need during this pandemic", he explains. "I highly value good musicianship and am extremely proud of how this song came out from that direction. Another conviction of mine is solid theology. This song was written with much prayer and with Bible in hand. I hope you hear the theological truths in it."
Trace discovered music as a child while taking piano lessons per his grandmother’s request. In 2009, Trace, along with a few others, formed the band Adrift and began playing at college functions and parties. After a few years of honing his craft the band became The Trace Pridgen Band. The band has played many venues across the southeast including The Masquerade in Atlanta, The Loft in Columbus, Georgia, and The Workplay Theater in Birmingham, Alabama.
In 2016, the group opened for the annual Hudson Family Foundation Concert in the Auburn Arena in Auburn for Montgomery Gentry, Justin Moore, and Frankie Ballard. They also opened for at Atlanta Braves baseball game at Turner Field and were up for the 2016 Atlanta Braves "Band of the Year". Also in 2016, Pridgen was named "Best Local Musician" by "The Corner News" in Auburn, Al and was selected for the "Nash Next" local finals in Montgomery, Al.The Trace Pridgen Band was the first band to play at the new Suntrust Park, Home of the Atlanta Braves in April of 2017.
His first single "Annie Sue" is available now on iTunes, Spotify and all other streaming music services. It has been selected by the UK's "Pop-Up Music" to match with radio, t.v., and film. The second single "Meant to Stay" was released late 2017. His debut album Songs from the Road is expected to release in 2020.
He is currently freelance worship leader and guitarist. He has traveled across the world leading groups of all sizes and ages in Christ-centered worship and regularly leads camps and events across the south.
His first worship single, “Love Runs Deep” under the new moniker of TRACE released everywhere on August 9, 2019. This project is a synth/ guitar pop worship project. His most recent single, “Good” released on January 10, 2020. More singles are expected within the following months.
