Rend Collective Experiment Release 'Organic Family Hymnal' This Month

Rend Collective Experiment, from Bangor in Northern Ireland, will release their debut album on Survivor Records 'Organic Family Hymnal' on 18th January 2010. The album contains 13 songs, including a duet with David Crowder on the track 'Faithful'.

"We are a collective of people like a family and not just a band. We want our music to be what we call Organic worship, an honest and natural connection with God, something which is authentic and not artificial. We want to create an environment for people to have genuine encounters with Him and to find themselves singing to Him in ways that they find real", says the band.

'Organic Family Hymnal' was recorded earlier this year at Castlewellan Castle in Northern Ireland and has been mixed by Sam Gibson (Delirious?, Pearl Jam, Crowded House). Describing the band, Survivor Records says, "All along they have been driven by a desire to generate money that can help those who are less fortunate than themselves - without being just another charity project. Instead The Rend Collective Experiment try to live those values out loud."
