Speaking on the song he said, "Growing up in Nigeria and London showed me a lot about culture and having an appreciation for it. I have always wanted to create a short Afrobeats project showcasing some of the music I enjoy while giving glory to God. Corner is a blend of the two worlds that I grew up and showing that God is sovereign in everything, God puts things in order and I have come (O Ti De is Yoruba for "he has arrived") to share that with the world."
