Shimon Atunde Releases 'Take Over' Feat. MikeSolo

Lagos born, Leicester (UK) based artist, Shimon Atunde has released his new single 'Take Over' featuring MikeSolo. The song is available now on all streaming platforms.


Earlier this year Shimon Atunde released the singles 'Ese' and 'Need You', and last year he released 'No Matter'.

Shimon Atunde is an independent artist born in Lagos, Nigeria where he spent most of his life before moving to the UK. His songs tell stories of his life both good and bad in the light of God’s unchanging love and his continuous need for God. Shimon is a PhD student in the department of Cardiovascular Science at the University of Leicester, plays keyboard at his local church and is President of Pillarz Society (a christian society on the University of Leicester campus) He has also won the Pomerance Prize for Music at the University of Leicester for contributions to music within the university whilst coming second place at the University Gospel Choir of the Year (2016, 2017) with Leicester University Voices.
