Sometimes when I write reviews, I try and write in a way that if I was doing an A level English exam I would at least pass. I try and be descriptive of the song and try to put to words what the song sounds like (I very rarely get this right). Yet when I was writing this review I just wanted to tell everyone how much of a great song this is. I know this doesn't describe the song very well, but the answer to my review is, I really like this song!
The reason being is simple, I felt relaxed listening to 'Take Over' from the moment I started listening. Personally as I listened for the first time I got lost in the music and the sense of worship that the song conveys and I was led to bow down to the Holy Spirit, I was lost in the wonder of God through this song. The song isn't too in your face to make you 'have' to worship, it leads you to worship in a gentle way. That's not saying that this song doesn't have a theme to share with you, it just does it in a great controlled way, with strong lyrics and great music.
My overall view and synopsis of this track is very simple, Shimon has produced a great track that I encourage you all to have a listen to.
