Mikey Powell Releasing 'The Snowball Chronicles, Vol. 1: Symphony of Grace'
UK worship leader Mikey Powell is releasing his worship EP, 'The Snowball Chronicles, Vol. 1: Symphony of Grace' on 22nd April. The six-song EP features the recent single 'Is There Anything Too Hard For You', an uplifting worship anthem - a declaration of faith in God's power to change lives and turn situations around. This is a particularly timely song in our fraught world.
"It's been a dream of mine to release a collection of worship songs, so it's super exciting to see that coming to life", Mikey told Louder Than The Music in a recent interview.
"It's called The Snowball Chronicles Vol. 1: Symphony of Grace. Which I will admit, is an unusual title. It comes from a line I read in a Jeff Lucas book that said trying to describe God is a bit like lobbing snowballs at the moon. If you want to know more, you'll just have to listen when it comes out!"
Mikey likes to write. Mostly, he like writing songs. And then singing them. Songs about hopes and doubts and dreams. Songs about love. Songs about procrastination. Songs about messing up. Songs about his old housemate, Ben Amos. Songs about the pain of stepping on a Lego Brick.
He also writes songs and sings them in church. This is what he does most of at the moment. Over the past couple of years he has released 4 singles with Homegrown Worship.
