Ian Yates Releasing 'God You've Never Failed Me' From Forthcoming Album

May 23 2022

Ian Yates, a Christian worship leader and songwriter from Liverpool, UK, releases 'God You've Never Failed Me', the second single from his forthcoming sixth album 'Between the Joy and the sorrow'. The single will be released on Friday May 27th, with the album being released in two parts. Part 1 comes out June 24th and Part 2 will follow later in the year.

Ian already had the chorus idea for 'God You've Never Failed Me' and was inspired by his close friend Tim, who was going through his journey with cancer. Tim and his wife Tash’s updates on a friends and family Facebook group shaped the rest of the song and Ian dedicated this song to Tim. Before Tim passed Ian had the pleasure of sharing the song with him.

Ian leads musical worship at his home church Bootle Elim and is part of Elim Sound, the national worship department for the Elim movement.
