UK Worship Leader Emma Noonan Releases Debut Album 'Within the Silence'
Emma Noonan, an English teacher and worship leader from Reading, UK, released her debut album, 'Within the Silence' on 27th June - it sits within the Christian worship genre.
Emma set up a home recording studio during 2020 to produce worship for on-line church. Recording other musicians' work reignited her own passion for song writing. Emma enjoys listening to singer/songwriter, indie folk, acoustic and Christian worship music. Her own music is a tightly crafted blend of alternative modern worship with a hint of slow indie-rock.
A recurring motif that runs through her debut album is the need for reassurance, forgiveness and healing during times of darkness and uncertainty. Some of Emma's songs are deeply personal; others are reimagined from alternative perspectives. Her lyrics are reflective; yet resolute and her melodies ambient; yet rhythmically determined. Above all, her music is from the heart.
