Multi-Instrumentalist Artist Will Gray Releasing 'Psalm 11'
Will Gray, a multi-instrumentalist independent artist/producer from South Wales now based in London, releases his new single 'Psalm 11' on August 5th.
Will Gray's 'Psalm 11' reflects the confidence in the psalmist's declaration that refuge is found in the Lord alone. It’s full of catchy vocal hooks, powerful pop production and summer road trip vibes. This song would work well on any indie christian pop or praise playlist and is bound to get listeners praising into the summer months
When discussing the release Will said “This song is a real step outside of my comfort zone, when thinking about doing a pop psalm I instantly thought to collaborate with my friend Josh Ellis and I'm so glad I did. The song just makes me smile everytime I listen to it and reminds me to turn my eyes up to heaven, I hope it does the same for others”
Falling firmly within the indie pop sphere, Will uses intricate pop production and acoustic driven instrumentation to re-imagine the ancient psalms and to break ground with new songs. Drawing from folk, soul, gospel and indie influences, he writes to engage the heart with both contemporary sounds and ancient themes. Following on from his latest release Psalms Vol.3, having branched out into original worship songs Will continues to write and engage with other artists to create a community of songwriters and creatives all from his home studio in London.
