The Caspar McCloud Band are back with their brand new album 'Higher Frequencies'. Louder Than The Music spoke at length to Pastor Caspar and Renae Truex all about the inspiration behind this new set of songs, and as is always the case when we talk to Pastor Caspar, the conversation soon delved into some unexpected topics! Read on for his thoughts on everything from musical frequencies to UFO's!

Hi Pastor Caspar & Renae - you've just released your new album 'Higher Frequencies' - first up, can you tell us why you came up with that title?

PC: Excellent question, Dave. Let me first say that we prayed about the title as much as we prayed about the songs and all things we are involved with. The album is a labour of love. Our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural tells us that God is love. 1 John 4:8 - “He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.”

The idea of calling the album 'Higher Frequencies' came about from considering how God Almighty's ways are so far above are ways. For we read in places like Isaiah 55:9 - “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.” The only way for us to move forward in this understanding is to do Matthew 6:33 - “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Let us also understand that God Almighty communicates with us all the time if we simply tune in to His proper higher frequency. When I was young, so much younger than today... I built a crystal radio and I used to listen to rock and roll at night when I was supposed to be sleeping. That might help explain why I sometimes spontaneously sing a line from an old song whilst preaching. But I digress. What we program in will influence what comes out as neurons that fire together, wire together.

What I recall was having this rather sensitive dial control on that radio which I had soldered to some transistors and wires on a metal platform where you could tune into different stations in between all the noise and hissing sounds you would hear trying to locate a station. Nevertheless, once you found that station you were looking for you could fine tune it and you could pretty much always find it again. So just like a radio station, we have to have our ears tuned to the Holy Spirit's frequency to catch His signal.

That said, I find myself over the last decade or so surrounded by some extraordinary erudite researchers, intellectuals, physicians and Bible scholars, and I have been invited numerous times to share the platform with them and give my presentations at these prophecy conferences as well as play my original music at these events.



I have attended several events recently where some of the speakers shared about frequencies. They were building a case that we should play music in 432 Hz instead of the standard 440 Hz tuning. They indicated how the Globalists like Rockefeller and the horrid Nazis started to use 440 Hz to try and take over the world. After a wee bit of research I discovered that indeed the 440 Hz standard was established by the British Standards Institute in an international conference in London in 1939.

However, some of the frequency advocates also claim that 432 Hz is the natural frequency of the universe and they believe it to have cosmic healing powers. I also heard people claiming that this is a better frequency for attracting an audience to your music. So in essence, if all of you aspiring guitarists would simply tune your guitars and bass to the 432 frequency, you might bypass all the gatekeepers and become that rock star you dreamt of being! Nevertheless, I have yet to see evidence proving this.

Before the invention of reliable electronic tuners, music was tuned to a tuning fork. Tuning forks, mind you, became somewhat standardized in the 18th century. Back then all these tuning forks could differ as it was difficult to make them all precisely identical. Just as today, most every musical instrument has its own personality no matter how close to identical the manufacturers make them. This also meant that not every tuning fork would vibrate at exactly at 440 Hz; that some could be a wee bit higher or lower. For example, you could have musicians in an orchestra performing who were tuned to 436 Hz and another orchestra in the next town over playing the same musical compositions who were tuned to 443 Hz. Making an educated guess here that most people would not notice the difference. Personally, I think the most important thing is what spirits are behind the music.

I got to thinking the arguments that were presented reminded me of how people in recent times have told me that I need to pray in the Almighty name of Yeshua instead of Jesus. Looking back retrospectively, I have seen numerous prayers answered and people come into salvation using the almighty name of Jesus! From my perspective, all frequencies are under God's ultimate control.

The frequency controversy seems like someone claiming a certain time of day is better than another time of day. When people try and tell me that mere men wrote the Holy Bible I ask them what spirit wrote what they believe. The poet John Milton went blind when he was 44 years old, and he dictated his entire book called Paradise Lost to friends and relatives and anyone he could get to write something down for him. His entire epic Paradise Lost has a total of 10,550 lines of poetry. Just because Milton himself did not put pen to paper, no one questions that Paradise Lost is not solely his work. The principle is similar with our Holy Guide Book to the Supernatural. Clearly God is the Author of the Bible, and he used human agents as His “secretaries” to give us the divinely inspired Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works.”

Over the years I simply started praying in the almighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, Messiah Yeshua so there is no mistaking what God I serve. Over the last number of years, let’s face it, a spirit of occult and new age teachings have crept into the churches, which has filtered into Christian music as well. Doctrine is important. God's doctrine equals divine truth! 1 Timothy 4:1: “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;”

Let me also say, that Pythagoras of ancient Greece is considered to be one of the greatest of mathematicians in history and is now regarded as the founder of music therapy. Pythagoras believed by using harmonic frequencies in music that he could heal sick people. Similarly, Plato disparaged the notion that music was intended simply to create a cheerful atmosphere and play with your emotions. He affirmed that music which could ennoble the mind was of a far higher frequency than that which appealed to one's sensibilities. Pythagoras and Plato both needed to connect with God Almighty instead of new age deceptions.

It appears to me that in every society we find that music is an inherent part of most every culture throughout history. I think J.S. Bach said it best when he was quoted to have said: “The final aim and reason of all music is nothing other than the glorification of God and the refreshment of the spirit.”

So if we are going to move towards Higher Frequencies we simply need to understand that God Almighty, through the Lord Jesus/Yeshua, has chosen to reveal Himself to us because of His agape love for each of us. Any knowledge that we have presently of God Almighty and His higher frequencies comes to us as a direct result of Him revealing it to us. God Almighty is the One who gives the revelation of Himself to each of us willing to tune in and study the holy instructional manual he gave us because the initiative starts on His side. Romans 5:8 - “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” 1 John 4:19 - “We love him, because he first loved us.”

Considering that we His church are even commanded to communicate with each other with psalms, hymns, and songs from the Holy Spirit. Ephesians 5:19 - “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord.”
RT: Definitely agree with Pastor Caspar and what he has explained here regarding the album title. Indeed our Lord Jesus is “The Higher Frequency,” above and beyond all the other noise that is happening around us constantly. We must always make a point to listen for Him over all things taking place around us on this earth. We pray that this album will help others do just that!

Your songs always delve in to some really interesting and current society issues - what topics do these latest songs explore?

PC: My friend Nurse Kate called me up and played me a song in January that someone wrote for her to use on her podcasts. She asked me what I really thought of it, so I shared that I thought it needed some revision and a stronger melody. After I hung up the telephone I picked up my guitar and this song called Nurse Kate happened in about 15 minutes about her being the most dangerous woman in all UK for speaking out the truth against the official propaganda narratives. So I quickly recorded it, sent her an mp3 to listen to about an hour after we spoke, and she just loved the new song, not just because it was about her, but because it makes you glad when you hear it. She said it gave her an earworm and she can't get the melody out of her head now.
