End of I To Release Single 'The Declaration' (ft.Deshiel Lynn)

Feb 28 2024

From the band who brought you “Our Cry” back in May of 2023, END OF I is excited to release their NEW single 'The Declaration' featuring Deshiel Lynn. 'The Declaration', written by Jeremy Riley (lead singer of END OF I) and Deshiel Lynn (vocals), was produced by Jeremy Riley and Brandon Whitlock, recorded and engineered by Brandon Whitlock at Pitchfork Studios, and mastered by Daniel Keebler McKay.

'The Declaration' was inspired by the scripture Psalm 91, ”We were right in the beginning of Covid and so many people were afraid of the unknown,God pointed me to Psalms 91, No evil will conquer, No plague will come near. From there I began writing from my heart”,states Deshiel Lynn.

She continues to explain how growing up in church, “they preached come as you are and I remember people messing up and being the talk of the church. I had so many questions and one of the things I questioned most was how are we supposed to reach the lost if we’re making a spectacle of those who sin or fall back into addiction? Why are churches being run like businesses instead of places for the hopeless, the lost, and the broken? I typed up a text with the lyrics I had and sent it over to Jeremy asking if he’d like to write the music part of it.”

When asked what he was thinking after receiving Deshiel’s text Jeremy stated,“I grabbed my acoustic and literally within 10 minutes I had all the chord progressions and vocal melodies for the song,it doesn’t always happen that way! The Message of this song couldn’t have come at a better time! This is a song of Freedom and Restoration from what Jesus has ALREADY done for us and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

This is the second single from END OF I and the first featuring Deshiel Lynn. END OF I is currently in the studio working on more music to come.
