The We Are the Music Makers (W.A.M.) Awards has announced its nominees for the 2024 edition, recognizing exceptional independent artists across various genres. The W.A.M. Awards honor artists who embody the values of artistry, musicianship, originality, professionalism, diversity, and excellence in their music. This year, chart-topping DPB has been nominated in the Gospel/Christian/Inspirational category for his impactful single, “Undefeated 3.0 (Radio Edit).”


The 2024 W.A.M. Awards showcase a diverse range of talent, with nominees spanning multiple genres and categories. DPB’s nomination is a testament to his dedication to creating music that resonates with audiences, offering an alternative and cutting-edge message that inspires and uplifts.

DPB, a multi-talented artist and motivational speaker, has shared the stage with legendary artists such as Bootsy Collins, Salt ‘n Pepa, Kool Moe Dee, Kirk Franklin, and Yolanda Adams. His music journey includes being a member of the Grammy and Dove-nominated group D.O.C. (Disciples of Christ) and achieving success on the Billboard Charts as a solo artist. His single “Brighter Day” charted at #15 on Christian Rock Radio National Airplay, and “Feels So Good Today” made a notable impact on the Billboard Charts. His nominated single, “Undefeated 3.0 (Radio Edit)” hit #1 on national radio airplay charts, while making a significant dent in the Billboard/Mediabase Activator chart.

The winners of the 2024 W.A.M. Awards will be announced during Indie Talk Podcast’s W.A.M. Awards Ceremony Radio Special on Sunday, November 17th, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. EST. Gold Winner songs will be featured during the broadcast, which will be heard on 15 national podcast stations in 125 cities worldwide. Additionally, a Grand Prize Winner will receive a 3-month PR campaign including song reviews, artist interviews, press coverage, and a podcast feature, along with a complimentary mixing and mastering session for one song at BWH Studios.
