At its core, Who God Is is an anthem for all who have struggled beneath the weight of that which seeks to define them. While our enemy labors to convince us that it is our addictions, our sin, our lack or abundance, our talents or failures, our mistakes, or the words of our abuser that ultimately defines us, God has a different story.
Every sin we have ever committed, and every sin that has ever been committed against us, Jesus became while on the cross (1 Corinthians 5:21). Because of this, He is able to look at His own and see us as holy and blameless. (Ephesians 5:27). And His is the only opinion that matters.
