Tasha Layton Releases New Album 'Life In Me'

Oct 11 2025

Acclaimed singer and author Tasha Layton releases her brand new album, Life In Me, available everywhere today. Listen to this dynamic collection of songs that represents Layton's life with Christ.

To celebrate today's release, the official lyric video for the song "Meet Me In The Valley" has debuted. This song was written by Layton, her husband, Keith Everette Smith, Jacob Sooter, and Meredith Andrews. Inspired by a personal experience, Layton hopes that anyone who listens to this song will remember that God meets them in their valleys. He is present in their struggles, ensuring that they are never alone.

Over the course of this year, Layton has shared several songs from Life In Me, highlighting the album’s wide-ranging styles. These include the upbeat gratitude anthem “Thank You Isn't Enough” featuring the Choir Room, the emotive ballad “Singing In the Dark,” the stirring title track, and the No. 1 single “Worship Through It” featuring Chris Brown. Other collaborators on the project include Rachael Lampa, Colton Dixon, and Tim Hughes.

Earlier this week, Layton introduced her new album with a special Q&A led by podcaster and author Rachel Awtrey in front of a live audience. Attendees also heard a selection of the new songs in special string arrangements and even surprised with guest Rachael Lampa.

Layton is currently on her fall “Worship Through It” Tour with special guests Jonathan Traylor and Cade Thompson, creating an immersive space for fans to encounter Jesus no matter where they are in their journey. Following this tour, she will join Lysa Terkeurst for the fall “Trust Again Tour” in November.
