Louder Than The Music

Christian rap artist Lecrae has had his latest studio album 'Rehab' released in the UK and Europe following it's North America release last month. On his long-awaited fourth album, Lecrae informs listeners that because of our sinful nature we all need rehabilitation, healing, and restoration back to the original state of unity with God.

"Now I'm a little older and a little wiser. I can see the mistakes people will make before they make them", says Lecrae. "I can see not only the fruit of their mistakes, but also the root of their mistakes. Many times we want to attack the behaviors or the external problems in our lives and never realize the cause of those problems are internal and spiritual. Anger, depression, addiction, discontentment are all ills that plague us. Many times, we not only try to fix the effects of these things instead of tackling the cause, but we also don’t think God and His Word have any hope or solutions for them. Out of a burden to help and also confess my own struggles in the area I am releasing REHAB."

Fittingly, the Rehab experience begins with 'Check In', as Lecrae prepares himself and his audience to leave behind their addictions and hindrances and enter rehabilitation. Lecrae gets support from fellow rap and hip hop artists Sho Baraka, Trip Lee, Tedashii, Pro, J.R., Benjah and many others along the journey towards restoration - with several memorable collaborations.
