Louder Than The Music

British band [dweeb] have announced that after nearly nine years of touring and recording the band will be coming to an end in September 2011. Before they finish, [dweeb] will release the brand new single 'My New Hero' which will be available to download on iTunes from 23rd May 2011. The band will kick off their final three month 'Collision Tour' in Lincoln on 21st May, finishing at the Grapevine Festival at the end of August.

"We have met some amazing people, played some truly awesome shows in many beautiful countries and shared our hearts and our passion through these songs of ours along the way", said the band. "But alas, all good things come to an end. We want to say a massive thank you to all of our fans. Thank you for coming on this journey with us, you have been spectacular!

If you have seen anything good in this band, if there is anything you have admired about [dweeb], then we need you to know that it is all because of Jesus. Eight and a half years ago we set out singing these songs for Him, we have continued that way and we will finish it that way. If you remember one thing about our band remember that it was all about our God. We hope we have in some way helped you to see Jesus a little bit more - if we have, these nine years have been well worth it."

A limited edition EP, titled 'My New Hero & The Hidden Treasures', will also be released featuring previously unreleased b-sides and demos, available exclusively from the [dweeb] online shop. Only 300 hand numbered copies will be produced of the four-track EP which features the final single 'My New Hero', an exclusive b-side titled 'Your Golden Kiss', the original demo version of '3D', and a live recording of their popular anthem 'Dynamite'.
