Anberlin To Begin Recording Sixth Album As New Best-Of Is Released

Feb 24 2012

Alternative rock band Anberlin will enter the studio next week to begin recording their sixth studio album. The band will once again be working with producer Aaron Sprinkle (The Almost, Kutless) with the album expected to be released sometime around June 2012.

"Aaron Sprinkle will be producing our new album", confirmed the band. "He produced our first 3 albums, and we could not be more thrilled to join forces again. We have 40+ song ideas, and this one is shaping up to be something special. We will begin work on the new album later this month."

Meanwhile, a new best-of album from Anberlin will be released in March 2012 titled 'Dancing Between The Fibers Of Time' including songs from their three Tooth & Nail albums: 'Blueprints For The Black Market' (2003), 'Never Take Friendship Personal' (2005), and 'Cities' (2007).

Anberlin released their fifth studio album 'Dark Is the Way, Light Is a Place' in 2010, which reached number 2 on the iTunes album charts, debuted at number 9 on the Billboard 200 chart and opened at number 1 on Billboard's Christian Albums chart.
