Israel Houghton Releases 'Covered' Single Ahead Of Live Album
Internationally renowned Gospel worship leader Israel Houghton has released his new single 'Covered' today, ahead of the new live album from Israel & New Breed titled 'Covered... Alive In Asia'.
The multi Grammy, Stellar and Dove Award winning artist recorded the forthcoming album live across multiple countries earlier this month, recording in Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines.
Written and produced by Israel Houghton with co-producers Aaron Lindsey and Kevin Camp, 'Covered' is an anointed praise and worship anthem that rejoices about God's grace received at the cross.
"Anyone who has followed our music for any length of time in our 15 years of existence knows that we tend to sing a lot about God's grace," said Israel Houghton. "We all need it. This single 'Covered' represents the newest - and I believe clearest version of that force of God's favor that I've ever had the privilege of writing."
The new album will mark Houghton's 10th with New Breed. The project will feature a concert film on limited theatrical release, a DVD and Spanish companion album.
