Classic Delirious? Albums 'Cutting Edge' and 'Glo' To Be Released On Vinyl For First Time
For the first time ever, several classic Delirious? albums are being made available on Vinyl. The ground breaking British worship band formed in 1992 and performed their final concert together in 2009.
Now for the first time their original 'Cutting Edge' 1+2 and 3+4 albums will be re-released as a double vinyl, whilst their third studio album 'Glo', originally released in 2000, will also be released as a record. Both albums will be released on vinyl on 9th December 2016.
'Glo' really a piece of history, reflecting how much things were changing at that time. For many this album became a soundtrack. Although Delirious? made steps towards a more electronic and mainstream sound, they also maintained the worship heart of the band with moving songs like "What Would I Have Done?" and "Intimate Stranger".
The Cutting Edge EP series was the start of what we now know as a world changing and history making journey for Delirious? which eventually led to them making real traction in the mainstream charts and opening up concerts for Bon Jovi and Bryan Adams.
The Cutting Edge songs were originally only written for an annual youth event in Littlehampton but the cassettes spread like wildfire and the songs took the nations by storm.
The Cutting Edge 1+2 vinyl Includes the band’s first ever song together, the beautiful 'Lord You Have My Heart' and the timeless 'I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever' (recently covered by Justin Bieber!) released in 1994 but still sung in churches across the globe in a variety of languages today.
The Cutting Edge 3 (The Red tape) + 4 (Cutting Edge Fore) Vinyl includes songs like 'Find Me in the River' and 'All I Want Is You'.
