The 29th Chapter Release 'Louder' EP
The 29th Chapter released their new seven track EP 'Louder' last week (7th August). The band won the 2008 Urban Music Award for Best Gospel Act and describe their new album as being "fuller, bolder and a whole load louder than anything else around here."
"Social comment, eternal inspiration, foot candy and open heart resuscitation... they all line up in front of The 29th Chapter. The Hip Hop obsession with status, ego and violence gets a roasting in 'Fallback' while Praise and Worship gets the Kanye vocoder treatment in 'Feel So Good'. Even those Balkan beats get broken out on 'Get Strong'. Nothing is sacred for the sake of it - everything is lined up for the treatment. Everything is made a little louder."
The 29th Chapter were recently features on Tim Hughes' 'Happy Day' live DVD/CD and also the live albums for Newday and Soul Survivor Complete.
