Singer/Songwriter Orlando Rodriguez Unveils Latest Single 'Colorblind'
Ten Three Records recording artist Orlando Rodriguez is thrilled about the release of his latest single, "Colorblind," and he can't wait for fans to experience it for themselves--not only because of its relevant lyrical content, but because of its ultra cool, jazz-inflected gospel vibe that will have fans raising their hands, nodding in time and singing along.
"The song is a socially conscious, timely message speaking to the sentiments of society today," Orlando explains. "'Colorblind' reminds us that we have the ability to see others--beyond the flesh, the way God sees us, through the eye lenses of agape love expressed in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8."
Produced by Anthony Raglin and mixed by Chuck Alkazian (Percy Bady, Desmond Pringle, Christina Aguilera), "Colorblind" encourages listeners to embrace the idea that God is Love and that we should continue to embrace unity for the greater purpose of the Kingdom.
"I can't help but think of what the world would be like if everyone looked at things from God's perspective," Orlando muses. "My song 'Colorblind' is an appeal to see others the way that God sees them. I believe that if we could love each other the way God loves us, then we would have a much easier time getting along and working together. Unity in the body of Christ is so important because we all need each other."
"Colorblind" is available now from online retailers including Amazon and iTunes. Rodriguez is currently touring in support of his debut solo project, Turn the World Off, which was produced and mixed by hit-maker Chuck Alkazian at Pearl Sound in Canton, Michigan, and released to retail through Ten Three Records
