Joshua Micah Releasing 'Heart Stops Beating' From His '20XX' EP

Mar 16 2018

Los Angeles based singer Joshua Micah is poised to impact Christian radio with the pop smash of 2018 'Heart Stops Beating'. The new single is the third release from his recent '20XX' EP, after two consecutive #1 songs at Billboard/BDS Hot AC/CHR with 'Parachute' and 'Who Says'.

"These past few years I’ve become so much more aware of the faithfulness of God", explains Joshua. "No matter what difficult things life has thrown at me and no matter how much I’ve failed Him, He’s been with me and He’s loved me and He’s held me up.

Deuteronomy 31:6 says, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you He will never leave you nor forsake you." In my new song Heart Stops Beating, I wanted to make that commitment back to God. There’s a line that say “I won’t give up on You cuz You don’t give up on me”. Because of Christ, we have hope. God will never leave us and he’ll never forsake us. That’s why I can sing “I’m gonna love You 'til my heart stops beating”."

Joshua Micah will be on the road this spring with new friends Blake Whiteley and evangelist Clayton Jennings on the Revival Tour. He will also be doing shows with Hollyn in May.
