Jason Nicholson-Porter and Rachel Francis-Nweke Collab on New EmpoweredBy Single and Video Release, 'I Need You'

Jul 10 2018

Vocal powerhouses Jason Nicholson-Porter and Rachel Francis-Nweke join forces on the new single and accompanying video from EmpoweredBy titled, 'I Need You', which is out now.

Written and produced by Warren King, the founder of EmpoweredBy music ministry, 'I Need You' is a humble and honest admission about our need for God.

“This song is about being desperate for God’s presence in our lives. Not from a helpless and hopeless place but from a grown-up understanding that we can’t do this life alone,” says Warren.

“The song means a lot to me because although I am able to independently provide and look after my family as a doctor I still choose to say, ‘Lord I need you, I want to rely and depend on You’,” he added,

Shot in locations around London and The Midlands the 'I Need You' video features sets of twins that represent different paths in life. The storyline focuses on the path of someone who has been searching outside of Christ for a sense of meaning and belonging only to realise that what they were looking for was in His presence all along.

'I Need You' is the second single to drop from the forthcoming EmpoweredBy EP, ‘Empowered By Where You’, set for release 3rd August 2018.

The single is available for download now on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play or can be streamed on Spotify.
