Kendall Payne Releases New Album 'Wounds to Scars'
Kendall Payne's new album 'Wounds to Scars' has now been released independently and is available as a digital download from cdbaby.com. The album will also be available on CD in the next few days.
Produced by Charlie Peacock, 'Wounds to Scars' is inspired by the lyrics of one of the songs on the album that says, "We never know what's gonna make us into the people that we are. Can't tell the toll that it will take on us, until the wounds have turned to scars."
Describing the album, the press notes say, "In 'Classic-Kendall' form, Wounds to Scars is NOT for everyone. There are some people who want to be spoon-fed sappy lyrics with generic melodies they've already heard 100 times, because it's familiar and trendy. This album is not for them. On the contrary, Wounds to Scars is for the intelligent listener. For the person who buys music because it makes them think, not because they want something to mindlessly tap their toe to. Wounds to Scars will move you, it will make you cry, it will challenge you and it will embrace you, in a metaphoric sense, right where you are."
