Jonathan And Melissa Helser's Cageless Birds Release 'We Rise'
Cageless Birds, a collective founded by Jonathan and Melissa Helser of Bethel Music, will release their first album in 5 years, 'We Rise We Bow', in two parts. 'We Rise' was released on June 21st and 'We Bow' will be available on October 11th. "Our dream for this album is that when you hear it, you would hear the sound of North Carolina and feel the heartbeat of our community", says the group.
"It's one thing to write a song for yourself, it's another thing to gift a song for a generation to sing and declare as their own", explains Melissa Helser. "One of our favorite elements of this album is the unique theme of declaration and testimony. This album is a compilation of songs that reflect our own personal stories, our friendships and the time that we have spent fighting together for the next generation. We Rise We Bow was curated as a gift to you, the listener, as a collection of songs to declare as your own."
The Cageless Birds is a missional community founded by Jonathan and Melissa Helser. "We live and work on 52 acres of land located in Sophia, North Carolina. Our ministry is dedicated to seeing hearts liberated by the love of God. We host worship gatherings and lead discipleship schools, retreats and camps for all ages known as the 18 Inch Journey. As a creative community we are devoted to wholehearted living and cultivating the arts through: writing books, recording original music, handcrafting leather goods and pottery, roasting coffee and creating visual art. All of the proceeds from these products enable us to continue leading schools and discipling hearts."
