UK Worship Leader Ian Yates Releasing 'Loved By You' Single Ahead of New Album 'Mystery'

Jan 13 2020

'Loved By You' is the brand new single from UK Worship leader Ian Yates taken from the full-length album 'Mystery' set for an April 2020 release. 'Loved By You' takes on an intimate stripped back feel and is the perfect pointer of what to expect from Ian's new album.

Have you ever questioned God? Have you ever asked, why? Have you ever screamed out to Him? Many of us have come against some huge storms and battles in our lives. In the midst of them it’s sometimes hard to see, hear or know that God is with us. Some of us have lost our battles and some of us have been shipwrecked by the storms.

"My prayer for this song is that it will minister to many who have struggled with loss, grief, pain and facing the mysteries of this life. Sometimes we don’t know why things happen and sometimes we can’t always see the bigger picture. In all that we face I pray that we can fully know this simple yet powerful, biblical truth that God is good and we are loved by Him."

Ian is a Christian worship leader and songwriter from Liverpool, UK. He leads musical worship at his home church Bootle Elim, and is married to Kate. They have 3 young children, Jackson, Elijah and Abiah.

September 2016 saw the release of Ian's 4th album, (his 3rd on 7Core Music) 'Awaken To Love' to rave reviews, and included ‘No Longer I’ co-written with Matt Redman, and the UK Step Fwd chart number 1 single ‘High Wire’.

It was followed up in 2019 with his 'Deconstruction vol. 1' mini album which contained the singles 'Blackout', "Belly Of The Beast', 'Hope Beyond Hope' and 'Deconstruction' all of which proved popular on various Spotify editorial playlists and gained radio airplay across many stations in the UK, USA and Australia. ‘Belly Of The Beast’ and ‘Hope Beyond Hope’ both received 10/10 reviews from Tony Cummings at UK’s Cross Rhythms. Hope Beyond Hope featured in CCM Magazine’s ‘Best Thing I Heard Today’ in the USA, while ‘Deconstruction’ featured in Spotify’s official ‘New Indie and Alternative’ playlist.
