The Electro Pop Deluxe is a re-release of V.Rose, the brilliant self-titled debut album, and contains six extra tracks.
The extra tracks have been added after V. Rose spent some time visiting different cities and seeing that fans loved her single Battery the most, inspiring her to write some more electro-pop music. These new tracks feature some guest artists including KJ-52, Manwell Reyes (Group 1 Crew) and Spec and have an electro-pop feel.

The first of the new tracks, Turn Up Your Light featuring KJ-52, is an upbeat, dancey track and very catchy - one of my favourites on the album. V.Rose said she wrote the track to inspire Christians to stand up and shine their God-given light, His light, and take over the darkness that's in this world and by turning up your light, you will encourage others to turn up theirs.
Viva has a Spanish beat to it with a blend of electro, Spanish guitars and wind instruments that will make you want to get up and dance. The lyrics "Viva forever live forever" hints at afterlife.
Supernova features Manwell Reyes from Group 1 Crew, who adds a rap at the end of an excellently produced song about Jesus: the superman defeating evil.
These three songs are EDM tracks but are all different in style, showing how musically talented V.Rose is, and perhaps we will hear more like this from her.
The dubstep remix of fan favourite Battery, is just as good, if not a little better than the original version. I am not sure which I prefer but I'm sure that fans will love both versions and those into dubstep will be turning this one up loud.
I think that these extra tracks (which could have been released as a new EP) add to the original album. The original was very pop focused, perhaps a little teen-pop in some places, but it also has the dance element to it, and some songs have a soulful feel to them showing that V.Rose is a diverse singer and songwriter, with something for everyone. If you have not yet heard her original then this deluxe edition is well worth checking out.
