Ann Nesby is an American R&B, Gospel Singer. Ann was former lead singer of Sounds of Blackness, but not only is Ann an amazing singer and songwriter she is also an actress and in 2003 co-starred in romantic comedy "The Fighting Temptations" with Cuba Gooding Junior and non other than Beyonce Knowles. The lead single from her last album "I Apologize" was nominated for a Grammy at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

But 2009 Ann Nesby has brought out her latest project in "The Lula Lee Project", and what a great album it is. As you would expect from Ann this album has some powerful vocals. If you want pure classic Gospel, Soulful vocals then The Lula Lee Project is for you. The album is 12 tracks long with every track full of uplifitng lyrics and a gospel choir that she uses to their full potential, this especially comes through in "I Trust You Lord".
I have to be honest with you, as a person who doesnt listen to much Gospel, I didn't enjoy this album as much as maybe others would. But if you're into Gospel Christian Music you will not find a better album out there at the moment. Ann Nesby hasn't changed the direction of Gospel music, she has produced a top quality heart felt God filled album, and that's what we want.
